CT State Library   The CT State Library offers free access to many Connecticut land, church, vital-statistic, and probate records, as well as the State Library's Barbour Collection and Hale Collection, have been microfilmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah, which is affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). Each microfilm is assigned a unique seven-digit number by the Genealogical Society of Utah. Film numbers are shown in the LDS Family History Catalog, available as part of the Family Search computer program available for use at the Connecticut State Library, many other genealogical libraries, and LDS Family History Centers, or online.
