The Manchester Sports Hall of Fame would like to invite anyone
interested in nominating an
individual or themselves
as a candidate for induction. This includes consideration of deceased
individuals as well.
If interested, please read the Induction
Criteria and complete the necessary nomination forms.
All completed applications must be submitted by June 1 to the
following address:

To be considered for induction into the Manchester Sports Hall of
Fame, a person must meet at least two (2) of three (3) criteria:
Manchester, Connecticut resident for at least three (3) years.
Participation in local sports activities as a member (coach or
athlete) of Manchester sports teams; as a student at Manchester High
School, East Catholic High School, Howell Cheney Regional Technical
School, or Manchester Community College; or as an individual competing
in a Manchester sports program.
Local, state, national or international recognition gained through
athletic competition and achievement.
INELIGIBILITY
The following persons shall not be eligible for selection and
induction into the Manchester Sports Hall of Fame:
- Persons who have achieved athletic prominence, but ended their
involvement in their area of competition prior to established
residency in Manchester.
- Persons residing outside of Manchester, Connecticut who participate in one time local events including, but not limited
to golf tournaments, track and field events, and the Manchester Road Race.
